“ Stopping at Short Stacks was by accident, and we couldn't have been more fortunate. One look at their menu is all it took - lots of great choices for breakfast and lunch. We went with one of their specials for the day, plus one entree off of their regular menu. Both were delicious, and the portions were so large that we took half home. If the opportunity presents itself, be sure to eat at the counter - you'll enjoy a delightful conversation with the friendly staff. ”

The pot roast and eggs seemed like an odd combination but it was so so good! Our waitress Amber was so very nice, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend, will return! ”
“ We were quite impressed with Short Stacks. The Breakfast Menu has a wide variety of choices, from healthy to hearty. The staff was friendly and ultra attentive. I Had the Senorita Omelette with Chorizo. It was perfectly cooked with generous amounts of chorizo and jalapenos. The Wifey was having trouble deciding between the Pot Roast Burrito and the Pot Roast and Eggs Breakfast. She went with the Pot Roast and Eggs Breakfast because it came with pancakes. We were more than a little geeked out by them offering Pot Roast for breakfast. It turns out it’s a pretty good breakfast meat. Not too fatty and not too salty. We also shared a very fresh bowl of mixed fruit. The eponymous Pancakes were delicious too. And the house coffee was a strong smooth flavor which impressed us, as well. The prices were more then reasonable for breakfast. We highly recommend Short Stacks. ”
“ Short stacks has improved. I used to frequent SS a few years ago, and the quality of the food was not there. The eggs weren't cooked the way I asked, the corned beef was consistently burned, the toast was warm not toasted, and the coffee was warm. Tried numerous times, and it was bad every time. Fortunately, they have improved!! The last 2 times I stopped in for breakfast, it was a good experience. It's great to have a good restaurant within a 5-minute drive. ”

“ Delicious coffee! We went on a Tuesday morning, around 11 am, so it wasn't busy at all. The food came out rather quickly and we were getting refills pretty consistently. I did upgrade to the local farm eggs which were yummy. The breakfast potatoes were a little too oily but other than that, it was tasty. Would definitely visit again. ”
“ My favorite breakfast spot. I only go for the biscuits and gravy with crispy hash browns n eggs. Coffee is delicious and I’m picky with my coffee. Small n cozy. Staff always friendly. Shot out to our server Nicole, always making me feel comfortable and making sure everything is good. ”
